Soldiers for Faith Warriors

Soldiers for Faith Warriors is a unique program created specifically for our friends with special needs or other physical limitations. We believe that God created every individual with an important purpose and plan. We have provided digital platforms for those with special needs to enjoy fellowship together. We have Bible Studies both for our brave warriors and a study for the incredible parents and caretakers raising these mighty warriors! These studies are led by warriors or people heavily involved in the movement. Join a study so we can get to know you! We love having fun, laughing together, and of course, studying the bible together.

Letter to the parents and caretakers

We understand how big of a call you have on your life! We don’t see your day-to-day, but we know that having relationships centered around Christ is paramount to your success! We want to provide a safe space for you to learn, grow, and lean on other parents and caretakers. There is so much power in coming together with people in similar stages of life. Let us come alongside you, support you, and pray with you. We believe you are raising warriors, and that should not be done alone!

Warriors Gaming

At Soldiers For Faith, our hope is to take something so many kids love, gaming, and instead of doing it siloed from each kids’ screen at home, coming together to do it in community. Because mentorship is lacking in today’s culture, another pillar at each Warriors Gaming night will be young men and women who also love gaming, donating their time to spend with our kids forging relationships, modeling character, friendship, sportsmanship, servanthood, etc. And then, lastly, over a meal and fellowship, we will have a special guest come and share things like character, friendship, integrity, discipleship, community, teamwork, etc. – things that help support how we are attempting to raise our children. As they grow into high school and eventually college, maybe this gaming night will have helped develop some of those attributes to weather all the world is going to throw their way.

“The Warriors Gaming group has been such a positive addition to our 15-year old’s world. He looks forward to it every month and takes on the responsibility to make sure it’s on the family calendar. Griffin has grown closer to his school friends while making new friends in a safe, positive, and encouraging environment. More than the video games and food, the interesting, inspiring speakers have had an impact. We’ve noticed our son sharing his own thoughts with us about ideas/lessons that started at Warriors Gaming. In Griffin’s own words, “Powerful things happen when friends get together, and they can achieve more together than on their own.”

“Warrior Gaming has become a must-attend monthly event for my son and his friends. At a time when many kids are connecting with one another online but are lacking in-person social engagement, Warrior Gaming has bridged that gap by establishing an outlet for youth gamers who can grow in community and relationships while learning about sportsmanship, character, friendship, integrity, and discipleship. I’m thankful for Warrior Gaming and look forward to seeing it grow and develop for the betterment of the youth that attend.”

“I wanted to email you, to let you and anyone else that was in charge of putting this event together, How absolutely outstanding and life changing this was for my son, Ty. I had no idea the “Big Picture” of this event or what it was really all about. My son has some special needs. and has really struggled with friendships. He went to this event and met so many wonderful people. Carter, you started talking with him right when we arrived and he was so nervous, twisting his shirt and fidgeting, but you were so kind and made him feel at ease with your interest and questions about gaming. Bringing out the best in him. You went above and beyond to show such kindness to him. He came home talking about the lessons he learned”
